Following societies are run and managed by PAC Organizing committee:
SPORTS SOCIETY
The sports society of PAC is one of its leading societies. It not only took part in several tournaments throughout the year but also brought home countless trophies. Following are the achievements of the sports society:
FAST SPORTS CHALLENGE
FAST Sports Challenge was held in the month of December. The team of PAC won many awards by performing outstandingly in various sports like tennis, cricket, football etc.
LUMS SPORTS FEST
LUMS Sports Fest was held in the month of December. Yet again the team of PAC won many gold and bronze medals in many different sports, which included table tennis, badminton, lawn tennis etc.
UCL SPORTS GALA
PAC won Table tennis women’s team tournament at UCL sports gala against many renowned institutions such as COMSATS, UCP, FAST, UCL, UOL etc. The boys’ team won a silver medal in the table tennis tournament.
FCC INTER UNIVERSITY SPORTS GALA
PAC showed immense talent in the arena and was able to achieve the Gold Medal in the table tennis tournament.
DEBATING SOCIETY
PAC’s debating society has been very active throughout the year. It participated in several events throughout the year such as the FC College Model United Nations.
ARTS AND CRAFT SOCIETY
The arts and craft society allows students to display their artistic talents in various forms. This society energetically operates throughout the year by making breathtaking charts that grasp the attention of many people and allow PAC to be a vibrant and scintillating place for its students.
MUSIC SOCIETY
The music society is a lively and energetic society which allows the students body to enjoy enticing music at several events that take place within PAC.
PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB
This has been a new addition to the societies this year and has been one of the most progressive societies, with many students signing up to show their photographic skills. This society has been responsible for the coverage of all events that PAC took part in as well as all the events that took place at PAC.
SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY
The social welfare society kept up to date with the current events that took place in Pakistan throughout the year and successfully arranged several fund raising campaigns and social awareness programs. Following are some of the campaigns they hosted:
- Fund raising campaign for IDPs
- Blood donation drive for Sundas Foundation
- Fund raising for Flood Victims
- Polio Awareness Campaign
- Social Awareness Week
DRAMATIC SOCIETY
The dramatic society of PAC displayed its immense talents throughout the year. On founder’s day the students enacted the play “Social Pagal” and on cultural day they enacted two short plays.
